Paula Hughes-Schuh

Paula Hughes-Schuh has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and roles. Paula has served as the CEO of YWCA Northeast Indiana, overseeing the organization's mission to eliminate racism and empower women. Additionally, Paula has been a member of the State Board of Governing Trustees at Ivy Tech Community College, the largest public postsecondary institution in Indiana.

Paula has also worked as a Senior Management Consultant at TFE - Transmission & Fluid Equipment, a family-owned company that provides fluid power and power transmission products. Paula has experience in consulting as well, having served as the Principal at Twelve One Strategy, where they focused on integrating values and business for various organizations.

Furthermore, they have held positions at Ambassador Enterprises, a private equity company that assists leaders in optimizing their organizations, and True North Strategic Advisors, where they were the Vice President. Earlier in their career, they ran for mayor of Fort Wayne and served as the 2nd District Elected Representative on the County Council of Allen County, Indiana.

Additionally, Paula has experience in the commercial real estate industry as a broker at BND Commercial and has served as the President of the Downtown Improvement District. Paula Hughes-Schuh obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Religious Studies from Indiana University Bloomington in 1991. Paula then pursued a Master of Business Administration in Management and Marketing from the University of Saint Francis, completing their studies in 1999.
