Nehal Parikh

Nehal Parikh has a diverse work experience in the medical field. They currently serve as the Executive Medical Director at Zai Lab since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Physician at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, starting in November 2017. Nehal also held the position of Director of Translational Clinical Oncology at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) from June 2016 until May 2021. Before that, Nehal served as the Director of the Division of Hematology/Oncology at Connecticut Children's Medical Center from August 2004 to June 2016. Nehal began their career at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, where they completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology from July 2001 to July 2004. Nehal has a solid educational background with a residency in Pediatrics at Stony Brook University from July 1998 to June 2001.

Nehal Parikh completed a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Ross University School of Medicine from 1994 to 1998. Before that, they received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biology, General from Rutgers University, from 1991 to 1993. Nehal Parikh also pursued studies in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies at Northeastern University from 1989 to 1991. They graduated from Elmwood Park Memorial High School with a High School Diploma from 1985 to 1989, focusing on a College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program.
