Julian Lawrence

Julian Lawrence is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in full-stack development and engineering leadership. Currently, Julian serves as a Senior Software Engineer at Zendesk since December 2021, following a role at Blizzard Entertainment where Julian also held the position of Senior Software Engineer. Prior to these positions, Julian was the Head of Engineering and a founding member at airVet, and served as a Senior Software Engineer at Retention Logic. Throughout a progressive career, Julian has applied expertise in cloud management using Terraform, containerization technologies, and infrastructure tools. Additionally, Julian's experience includes roles at DIRECTV as a Staff Engineer II and Medtronic as an Embedded Systems Test Engineer, where Julian led automation and test tool development. Early in the career, Julian contributed as a Quality Assurance Analyst at InstaMed and conducted research at UC Irvine. Julian holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from UC Irvine, earned in 2012.
