Prevention Care Coordinator at Zufall Health

Abraham Linares has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Abraham currently works at Zufall Health Center as a Prevention Care Coordinator. Prior to this, they worked at the Hyacinth Foundation, where they served as a Statewide PrEP Coordinator, Bilingual PrEP Counselor, Union County Housing Ambassador, and Non-Medical Case Manager. Before that, they worked as a Mental Health Counselor at Carrier Clinic. Abraham also gained experience as an Undergraduate Social Work Intern, Student Assistant, Sexual Health Advocate, and SHADES Theatre Member at Rutgers University. Additionally, Abraham held leadership positions in the Delta Lambda Phi Social Fraternity, serving as Vice President, President, and Brotherhood Director of the Beta Sigma Chapter.

Abraham Linares completed their high school education at Middlesex High School from 2008 to 2012, earning a High School Diploma. Abraham then attended Rutgers University from 2012 to 2017, where they received a Bachelor of the Arts in Social Work (B.A.S.W.). Abraham'sfield of study during their undergraduate years at Rutgers University was Social Work. In addition to their academic degrees, Abraham also obtained a certification in HIV Counseling and Testing from the NJ Department of Health in July 2015.
