Luke Engeriser is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in psychiatry. Currently, Luke serves as an Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Psychiatry Residency Director at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine, and holds positions as Deputy Chief Medical Officer and Adult Psychiatrist at AltaPointe Health Systems. Additionally, Luke is the President of the Alabama Psychiatric Physicians Association, where involvement includes various leadership roles since 2010. Previous experience includes serving as Medical Director at Bradford Health Services and Mid-Coast Mental Health Center, as well as leadership roles in the Department of Behavioral Health at Martin Army Community Hospital. Luke holds an MD from Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine and has completed psychiatry residency training at Tripler Army Medical Center, alongside earlier degrees from the University of Chicago in Divinity and English Languages and Literature.
