Lauren Fann

Lauren Fann, PhD, is a Senior Specialist in Pest Management at the Almond Board of California since September 2022, overseeing research and developing pest management strategies for the agricultural industry. Prior to this role, Lauren served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Kentucky, focusing on Integrated Pest Management and invasive species management. Additional experience includes a Doctoral Fellowship with the Southern Regional Education Board, laboratory technician roles, and educational outreach at the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History. Lauren holds a PhD in Entomology from the University of Kentucky, along with dual Bachelor's degrees in Entomology and Community Health from Texas A&M University, and an Associate's degree in Biology from South Texas College.
