Silje Ramsvatn

Silje Ramsvatn is an experienced sustainability manager at Cermaq Norway AS since April 2015, focusing on sustainable aquaculture practices and implementing ASC certifications. Previously, Ramsvatn served as an adviser for marine monitoring and assessment services at Akvaplan-niva and gained hands-on experience as a scientific fisheries observer in the Falkland Islands Fisheries Department. Educationally, Ramsvatn holds a PhD in Marine Ecology from the University of Tromsø and has both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Marine Biology from the University of Oslo. Early career work includes roles as a lab assistant, contributing to benthic sample analysis for environmental monitoring.
