Gigi de Pourtales

Gigi de Pourtales is an experienced event and marketing professional with a diverse background in managing large-scale cultural and community events. Currently serving as WALK MANAGER at the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Greater Los Angeles County since November 2022, Gigi has also held roles as Events and Marketing Manager at the Alliance for Southern California Innovation and as a Freelance Event Producer for Community Arts Resources since September 2009. Previous positions include Outreach, Events and Communications Strategist at Nami Westside LA, Project and Outreach Manager at CALHOPE, and Director of Marketing and Events at the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce, where Gigi advanced the Chamber's brand and managed multiple events. Gigi's career began in filmmaking as a Producer, following a BFA in Photography & Cinema Studies from New York University.
