Tim Jones

Tim Jones has extensive experience in leadership roles within the renewable energy and community banking sectors. Since January 2009, Tim Jones has served as Chief Executive at Community Energy Plus, focusing on developing renewable energy solutions and promoting energy efficiency. Tim Jones also held the positions of Acting Chief Executive and Development Director during this tenure. Previously, Tim Jones was Director at Low Carbon Futures UK from January 2011 to August 2012 and Chair of Cornish Community Banking from March 2011 to June 2012, advocating for accessible banking services in Cornwall. In addition, Tim Jones served as Councillor for Mount Charles Ward and Leader of the Council at Restormel Borough Council from May 2003 to March 2009. Tim Jones earned a PhD in Political Science from the University of Plymouth, completing the degree in 2008.
