Kimberly Laubscher currently holds the position of VP of Growth at Current, a leading U.S. challenger bank. Kimberly has been serving in this role since February 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of VP of Member Experience at Current from June 2021 to March 2023.
Before joining Current, Kimberly worked at Capital One. From November 2019 to May 2021, they served as the Director of Card Customer Resiliency. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing initiatives related to customer resilience.
At Capital One, Kimberly also held multiple other roles. From February 2018 to August 2018, they worked as the Director of Credit Card Application Experience, where they managed a team and led initiatives to enhance the credit card application experience. Prior to this, from August 2016 to February 2018, they served as the Senior Manager of Product Manager, Credit Card Application Fraud, where they focused on building capabilities to combat fraud.
Kimberly gained experience at Amazon as a Senior Product Manager, Technical Products (MBA Intern) from June 2015 to August 2015. During this internship, they initiated a Yield Management program for advertising on Amazon devices.
Kimberly'scareer began at Capital One in 2010. From February 2013 to June 2014, they held the position of Senior Business Manager / Business Manager, responsible for the social and mobile marketing channels of U.S. Card. From August 2011 to February 2013, they worked as a Senior Business Analyst, overseeing multivariate testing programs. And from July 2010 to August 2011, they held the role of Business Analyst, managing the dynamic web experience for U.S. consumers applying for credit cards.
Kimberly Laubscher completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Subsequently, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, attending from 2014 to 2016.
