Alberto Tomé serves as the Director General de Deportes for the Comunidad de Madrid since February 2018, with additional roles including Viceconsejero de Deportes and Director General de Humanización y Atención al Paciente. Prior experience includes serving as a Diputado at Asamblea de Madrid, Director de servicio at Ayuntamiento de Pozuelo de Alarcón, and Coordinador of the Grupo Municipal Partido Popular at Ayuntamiento de Alcorcón. Tomé has also held positions such as Concejal de Deportes in San Agustín del Guadalix and New Business Manager at the advertising agency MANIFIESTO. A founder of SoCool, a marketing and communication agency, Tomé has extensive experience in sports management and public administration, supported by a Licenciatura in Ciencias de la actividad física y del deporte from Universidad Alfonso X El Sabio and an MBA in Sports Management from Unisport Management School. Further qualifications include leadership and strategic management programs from IESE Business School, as well as specialized training in political communication and electoral campaign strategies.
