Alex Parker

Alex Parker has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the nonprofit sector. They started their career at Appalachian State University, serving on the Leadership Team of the Office of International Education. They then interned at Amnesty International USA, focusing on Legacy Giving. Later, they worked at Open Society Foundations as a Program Assistant in the Public Health Program. They returned to Amnesty International USA as a Development Associate before joining Human Rights Watch. At Human Rights Watch, Alex progressed from Development Associate to Direct Marketing Coordinator, Senior Marketing Coordinator, Marketing Manager, and finally, Senior Marketing Manager. They currently hold the position of Associate Director of Marketing at Human Rights Watch.

Alex Parker attended Appalachian State University from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a BBA in International Business. In 2009 to 2010, they also studied at The American Business School of Paris, focusing on International Business.
