Nikala Clarke has an extensive work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Nikala began their career as a Retail Assistant at Prouds the Jewellers in 2003 and later worked as an Administration/Accounting Clerk and Customer Service Officer at Dan Murphy's. In 2012, they joined Piper Alderman as a National Human Resources Coordinator, where they provided administrative support and acted as the main point of contact for HR queries. In 2015, they became an HR Associate at Morgan Stanley before moving on to ASX in 2016 as a Human Resources Manager. At ASX, Nikala held this position until 2018 when they transitioned to IMC Trading as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner. Nikala eventually worked their way up to become Head of HR Business Partnering and HR Operations - APAC at IMC Trading in 2021. Nikala also temporarily served as the Acting Head of HR (Mat Leave Cover) at IMC Trading in 2022. Currently, they hold the role of Head of HR and Recruitment India at IMC Trading starting from May 2023. Throughout their career, Nikala has demonstrated their expertise in various HR functions and shown dedication to supporting and partnering with organizations in their people-related initiatives.
Nikala Clarke's education history begins in 1993, when they completed their Higher School Certificate (HSC) at St Pauls Grammar School. After that, they attended Charles Sturt University from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) degree and a Bachelor of Business (Business Management) degree. In 2011, they briefly attended Macquarie University, specializing in Human Resources Management, where they pursued a Master of Commerce degree.
In 2018, Nikala Clarke attended the AGSM @ UNSW Business School for a short period with a focus on Strategic HR - Future of Work, though they did not obtain a specific degree.
Additionally, Nikala Clarke holds several certifications in various fields. In 2019, they received certification in the MBTI Step I & MBTI Step II program from The Myers-Briggs Company. In the same year, they also completed the Saville Comprehensive Course offered by Saville Assessment, a Willis Towers Watson Company. In 2021, they obtained the Australian Hogan Assessments Certified Practitioner certification from Peter Berry Consultancy. Nikala continued to pursue professional development and obtained the Executive Central Accredited Coach certification in 2021 from Executive Central. Nikala'sother certifications include the Brain-Based Conversation Skills certification from the NeuroLeadership Institute in 2022 and the Mental Health First Aid Certification from Mental Health First Aid® Australia in 2023.
