Afamia Kouzi

Afamia Kouzi is an experienced educator and researcher with a diverse background in teaching, entrepreneurial development, and chemical engineering. Currently serving as a native language teacher at Lahden kaupunki / City of Lahti since January 2021, Kouzi also operated as an entrepreneur providing teaching services in schools in late 2020. Prior roles include contributing to the development of highly educated immigrants' entrepreneurial skills at Lahti University of Applied Sciences and conducting research on bio-gas production at the University of Helsinki. Previous academic positions encompass lecturing in chemistry and food engineering at Jami't Al-Ba'ath University and the University of Khartoum, alongside extensive research experience in chemical engineering. Kouzi holds various degrees, including a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Khartoum, with additional qualifications in professional teaching and business administration.
