Omar Siu has a long and diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Omar started their career in 1996 as a Lead Artist at Criterion Games, where they worked on various projects including Burnout and Trickstyle. Omar then moved on to PlayStation London Studio in 2005 as an Art Lead before joining Black Rock Studios, Disney in 2008 as an Environment Art Lead. In 2009, they became a Team Lead Graphique at Ubisoft Montreal and later transitioned to Ubisoft San Francisco in 2010 as an Art Lead. At Ubisoft San Francisco, they worked on projects such as Rocksmith 2014 and Rocksmith One. Omar continued their career at InnoGames GmbH as an Art Director from 2015 to 2017, and then briefly at Codemasters in 2017 as an Art Director. From 2018 to 2021, they served as a Senior Art Director at Ubisoft China. Most recently, they joined NetEase Games Art Design Center in 2021 as a Senior Art Director. Since 2023, they have been working as an Art Director at Lighthouse Games. Throughout their career, Omar Siu has demonstrated their exceptional talent and expertise in art direction and has contributed to the success of various gaming projects.
Omar Siu obtained a BA in Design with a specialization in Industrial Design from the Institute of East Anglia, between 1992 and 1995.
