Charles Price

Charles Price has a diverse work experience in the field of music education and promotion. Charles has worked as the Head of Academic Music at Loughborough Schools Foundation since September 2021. Prior to that, they were a Teacher of Music at the same institution from September 2018 to September 2021. Charles also served as a Director at jazz plus productions, a record label and promoter, from January 2016 to present. Charles has held various roles in music education, such as Head of Pastoral Care at The Ingenium Academy International Summer School for Music from July 2017 to August 2019, and Co Head of Pastoral Care at Sistema Europe Youth Orchestra in August 2018. Additionally, Charles has experience as a Supply Teacher at PK Education from February 2018 to June 2018, and as a Teacher of Music at Ratcliffe College from August 2016 to July 2017. Charles has also worked as a Music Assistant at Warminster School from August 2015 to August 2016, and as Pastoral Staff at yorkshire young sinfonia from August 2015 to August 2016. Charles has volunteered with Serious for the EFG London Jazz Festival in November 2017. Charles also worked as a Social Media Manager at Swanbarton from September 2017 to June 2018.

Charles Price attended Kingswood School in Bath from 2005 to 2012. Charles then went on to Durham University from 2012 to 2015 where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A. Hons) degree in Music. In 2014, they also had a short study period at the University of Bern in Musikwissenschaft. Charles further pursued their education at the University of Buckingham from 2016 to 2017, earning a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with a focus on Music.
