Dan Kessler is MacMaven’s founder and principal consultant. He has been using Apple products since 1983 and fondly remembers reading his first programming book Kids and the Apple II.
Dan has over 20 years of experience in information security. He was a vice president of information security at Morgan Stanley. He also provided security guidance at the Internal Revenue Service, JPMorgan Chase, the World Bank, and Rebar Systems.
Prior to founding MacMaven, Dan helped many organizations with their Mac needs, such as Met Life, Steven Meisel Studio, ACM, the Cooper-Hewitt Museum, the New York Public Library, and the Duke men’s basketball team.
Dan holds a BA in psychology from Brown University and an MS in medical informatics (medical information technology) from Duke University.
