Raha Been

Raha Been, Ph.D., MBA, currently serves as Senior Vice President of Research and Development, Strategic Development and Commercialization for the Consumer Business Group at 3M, a position held since September 2024. Prior to this, Raha Been was the Senior Business Development Director for the Medical Surgical Portfolio at Medtronic from 2022 to 2024. Raha Been's tenure at 3M also includes various leadership roles from 2013 to 2021, such as Senior Director of Enterprise PMO and Senior Director of Business Development and Strategy, alongside experience as a Global Marketing Manager and Senior Research Scientist in Advanced Wound Care. Additionally, Raha Been has contributed to academia as a Biology Professor at Metropolitan State University and as a Research Scientist in Cancer Genetics at the University of Minnesota. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Comparative and Molecular Biosciences, a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Science in Biology, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, all obtained from the University of Minnesota.
