Kandara Mukusuka

Kandara Mukusuka (Pr.Eng) has extensive experience in the power systems sector, currently serving as Senior Manager: System Security and Planning at NamPower since February 2007. Previous roles at NamPower include Senior Engineer: Transmission Power System Planning and Power System Protection Engineer, where responsibilities involved selecting appropriate protection relays, conducting tests on protection systems, and analyzing high voltage networks. Mukusuka also held academic positions at the University of Cape Town as a Tutor and Laboratory Assistant, as well as a voluntary Residence Tutor. Early career experience includes a role as Assistant Radio Maintenance Technician at MTC Namibia. Mukusuka's educational background includes various management development programs and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cape Town.
