Alix W.

Alix W. serves as the Director of Health Policy at the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization since December 2021, where responsibilities include tracking and preparing materials on federal regulations, legislative analysis, and leading national surveys on pediatric hospice and palliative care. Prior experience includes roles as Manager of Health Policy at NACCHO and Public Health Law & Policy Program Analyst, where Alix W. collaborated with health departments and led educational webinars. Alix W. also engaged in legal work as a Certified Legal Intern for the Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund, while participating in public health research and advocacy through various fellowships and assistant roles. Alix W. holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, a Master of Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health, and a Bachelor of Science in Community Health from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
