Stefan Solberg

Stefan Solberg has extensive experience in finance and leadership roles. Stefan is currently the Director of Finance at Nel Hydrogen since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Sapa as the Vice President of Finance & HR for Precision Tubing from October 2013 to August 2016. Before Sapa, they held various positions at Norsk Hydro, including Vice President and Head of Finance for Precision Tubing, Vice President and Head of Investor Relations, Investor Relations Officer, Manager in Corporate Finance, Manager in Corporate Strategy, and Financial Consultant in Corporate Accounting. Stefan also served as a Board Member at AksjeNorge from January 2009 to December 2011.

Stefan Solberg's education history includes various degrees and studies in finance, international relations, business administration, and philosophy. Stefan completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a Certified European Financial Analysts (AFA) certification from NHH between 2004 and 2006. In 1999, Stefan earned their Master of Science (MS) degree in Finance and accounting from NHH.

In addition to their studies at NHH, Stefan attended the University of Agder (UiA). In 1996, they studied European Integration, a field related to international relations and affairs. Stefan also participated in a program in business administration at UiA from 1994 to 1996. During their time at UiA, Stefan completed an Examen Philosophicum course in Philosophy in 1995.

Before attending college, Stefan graduated from Porsgrunn Upper Secondary School in 1994, where they pursued general studies.
