George Varagas

George Varagas is the current Director of Engineering at Redica Systems. George has over 9 years of experience in the tech industry, with their previous company being Internet Brands. For almost 10 years, George has been a Director Of Technology and has been responsible for managing engineering managers on SAAS, eCommerce and API projects, providing technical direction to managers and leads, and mentoring managers and engineers. George has also been responsible for initiating and defining replacement of Drupal CMS system with in-house multi-site architectured CMS system while allowing for traffic growth. In addition, they were responsible for migration to microservices architecture and integrating with third party API functionality (Salesforce, Twilio, Cloudflare). George was also the primary stakeholder in migration and build of the eCommerce and Search platforms. As a member of the tech leadership team, they contributed to high level decisions in support of direction, standardization and architecture. George also performed employee reviews and hiring process.
