Raja Pavarala

Raja Pavarala has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Raja began their career as a Research Associate at the Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT) in 2002. Raja then worked as a Sr. Software Engineer at Applabs Technologies from 2003 to 2004. Raja joined Cap Gemini as a Sr. Consultant in 2004 and stayed until 2007. Raja then moved to TEKsystems, where they worked as a Tech Lead/ Guidewire Integration Consultant from 2007 to 2009. In 2009, they joined Republic Indemnity and held various positions such as Consultant - Application Analysis and Development from 2009 to 2015, Application Development Manager from 2015 to 2018, and Director Application Development from 2018 to 2023. Currently, they serve as the Assistant Vice President Information Technology at Republic Indemnity.

Raja Pavarala completed their education at Andhra University. From 1995 to 1998, they pursued a B.Sc in Computers, focusing on Mathematics, Physics, and Computers. Raja then went on to obtain a Master of Computer Applications degree from Andhra University, specializing in Computers, from 1999 to 2001.

In addition to their formal education, Raja Pavarala has also obtained several certifications. In August 2004, they earned the Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) certification from Oracle. That same month, they also achieved the Sun Certified Web Component Developer for Java 2EE (SCWCD) certification, also from Oracle.

Raja Pavarala further expanded their certifications with the IBM Certified Database Associate -- DB2 Fundamentals, received from IBM in August 2004. Raja gained technical certification for ClaimCenter 4.0 from Guidewire Software in October 2009 and functional certification for Policy Center 7.0 from the same institution in November 2013.
