About the Role - Associate Director, Account Management | Agencies and Media

This position sits within the Agencies and Media division, working with clients such as Market Research Agencies, Creative Agencies, Marketing Agencies, Media Agencies, Management Consultancies and Media Buyers amongst others.

This role requires strong sales experience, ideally in data collection/sample for market research projects.  The role will also offer the opportunity to expand into different types of research utilised by Savanta.

Leading and developing client relationships, carefully balancing your portfolio of retained clients, projects and business pipeline by ensuring your clients’ needs are consistently met to the highest standards. A key focus of this role is around accountability and ownership of your territory and given revenue targets, drawing on support and guidance from more senior members of the team.

Always looking for opportunities to add value to the client portfolio by cross selling and upselling Savanta products and solutions. 

An Associate Director needs to be fully competent at managing all aspects of a complex portfolio and managing the team responsible for commercial delivery. 

Also support with mentoring and training junior members of the team on core skills, as well as a greater personal involvement in company and team initiatives.

This role would suit an account management professional with a strong grounding in market research and understand how it is used by our clients.

About You

You will have a track record of proactively growing accounts and winning new business from within a portfolio of clients, preferably within the Research Agency and Media sector - and demonstrate solid expertise in applying robust strategies for hitting sales targets, proven success in identifying new business opportunities and nurturing these to create high value accounts. 

Able to directly engage, build and grow trusted relationships with existing clients. 

Display a firm commitment to commercial accountability within daily operations, including activities like cultivating revenue streams and overseeing project flow to optimise operational effectiveness and ensure the delivery of high-quality research.

We are looking for people who have a ‘can-do’ attitude, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, are confident in applying research and industry knowledge, as well as being responsible and accountable for revenue targets.
