Jonathan Katz has a diverse work experience in research and development, material science, hardware engineering, and lab assistance. Jonathan began their career in 2015 as a Material Science Major at Columbia University in the City of New York and also worked as a Data Analysis Intern for UHE Extragalactic Astronomy, where they performed data analysis on a variety of extragalactic events. In 2018, they worked as a Lab Assistant at Carleton Labs, Columbia University, where they were responsible for welding, machining and fabricating components for ongoing research. In 2019, they worked as an Engineering Intern at Rapid TPC, LLC, where they created machines to streamline the manufacturing process and improve QC. Most recently, in 2020, they worked as a Hardware Engineer at Oda - An instrument for Listening, where they fabricated prototype speakers, proposed, tested and implemented design changes to address issues with sound, manufacturing and aesthetics. In 2022, they began working as a Research and Development Test Engineer at Sonera Magnetics, Inc.
Jonathan Katz attended Columbia University from 2017 to 2021, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Material Science.
