Who you are:
As a Marketing Manager you will be responsible for building and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that strengthens our presence in the Shopify ecosystem. You will collaborate with key partners and thought leaders on co-marketing initiatives, plan and execute high-impact events, create demand-generation programs, and support partner enablement with tools and resources. This cross-functional role will require close collaboration with product, marketing, sales, and partnerships teams to align ecosystem efforts with Stay’s overall go-to-market (GTM) strategy.
What you'll do:
Partnership Marketing Strategy
- Work with the Director of Marketing and Director of Partnerships to develop and execute a scalable channel partner marketing strategy that drives pipeline growth
- Identify, establish, and nurture relationships with key partners, agencies, and thought leaders to unlock co-marketing opportunities
- Lead joint marketing initiatives, such as webinars, co-branded content, and campaigns, to maximize ecosystem reach and engagement
Event Strategy & Execution
- Plan and execute in-person events, including conferences, dinners/small events, tradeshows, and meetups to build brand presence and generate demand
- Oversee event logistics, budgets, sponsorship opportunities, and post-event analysis to ensure alignment with business goals
Demand Generation
- Develop and manage ecosystem-specific demand generation efforts: leveraging digital channels, social media engagement, hosting events, and testing new initiatives to drive pipeline and brand awareness
Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Track campaign performance to measure the success of ecosystem marketing initiatives
- Deliver regular performance reports with actionable insights to stakeholders across the organization
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product marketing to align messaging and product positioning for ecosystem campaigns
- Work with the partnerships team to ensure seamless execution of co-marketing efforts and partner engagement strategies
- Collaborate with the partnerships team to prioritize key relationships and joint opportunities
What you’ll bring:
- 3+ years of partnership, community, or event marketing experience, preferably within SaaS or eCommerce (Shopify experience is a strong plus)
- Experience planning and managing events (digital and in-person), including budget management, logistics, promotion, and post-event analysis
- Proven track record of developing and executing co-marketing campaigns with channel partners and driving measurable outcomes
- Familiarity with demand generation strategies, tools, and metrics
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and optimize campaign performance
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills
- Ability to travel to events across the US up to 25% of the time
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
Nice to haves:
- Experience with Shopify’s ecosystem, tools, and partner programs
- Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
- Proven experience conducting webinars, interviews, and field marketing initiatives
