Jacob Yormak

Jake Yormak is a Managing Partner at Story Ventures, where investment focuses on the development of automated systems, particularly in data capture, organization, and machine intelligence, since July 2016. Prior to this role, Jake served as an Attorney at Gunderson Dettmer from March 2015 to July 2016, representing startup technology companies in areas such as corporate formation and IP strategy. Earlier experience includes working as an Attorney at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP from October 2013 to March 2015, where representation involved complex debt and equity transactions for both public and private companies as well as financial institutions. Jake Yormak holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from New York University School of Law (2010-2013) and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania (2005-2009).
