Liam Fitzgerald has worked in the technology industry since 2018. In that time, they have held three roles. From 2018 to 2019 they were the Lead Full Stack Developer at Wanngi, where they were responsible for leading a team that built and operated an electronic personal health record, focussing on Agile software development principles. Key achievements under their tenure included the introduction of continuous delivery, the implementation of structured logging, a shift towards a microservices architecture and a transition towards a component based front end design language. In addition, they were responsible for reviewing pull requests and upskilling junior developers. From 2019 to 2020 they were a Technology Consultant at Urizen, providing solutions for a variety of startups, from seed-stage to Series A. Liam worked with all levels of the stack from innovative web applications, to kernel and OS systems development. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Tlon.
Liam Fitzgerald attended St Joseph's College, Gregory Terrace from 2012 to 2016. Liam then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronic Engineering at The University of Queensland, which they are expected to complete in 2024.
