Vindi Banga

Vindi Banga is an accomplished business leader currently serving as the Chair of the Imperial College Council since April 2024 and as Chair of UK Government Investments since September 2021. Vindi Banga has held the position of Partner at Clayton Dubilier & Rice since June 2010 and served as Senior Independent Director at GSK from September 2015 to July 2022 and at Marks and Spencer from September 2011 to September 2018. Additionally, Vindi Banga was the Chairman of the Board at Mauser GMBH from July 2014 to April 2017. Notably, Vindi Banga’s extensive experience at Unilever spanned from 2000 to 2010, where Vindi Banga held multiple leadership roles, including President of Global Foods, Home & Personal Care, and Chairman & Managing Director of Hindustan Unilever. Vindi Banga holds an MBA in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
