Charlie Davis is a dedicated academic and community advocate with extensive experience in research and program management focused on disability justice and trans issues. Currently serving as Lab Manager for the Critical and Transformative Praxis Research Collective at Wilfrid Laurier University, Charlie oversees community-based research projects and mentors junior scholars. As a volunteer with the Gender Variant Working Group since 2016, Charlie has conducted research on trans legislative impacts, managed successful grant initiatives, and enhanced community programming. Prior roles include Chair for the Rainbow Community Council and Graduate Research Associate at the Re*Vision Centre, where insights were provided into the experiences of marginalized groups. Charlie's educational background includes a Doctorate in Community Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University, complemented by a Master's and Bachelor's degree in the same field.
