Yvon Pastol

Yvon Pastol is the Executive Vice President in charge of the Customer Group. He joined the company in 2020.

Pastol has over more than 20 years spent in management positions in the semiconductor industry. Before joining Soitec, Yvon was Corporate Vice President & General Manager for the North America and Europe regions at Applied Materials. He started his career at IBM in 1990 before joining Atmel Corporation in 1996, then KLA-Tencor in 1998 and Varian Semiconductor Associates in 2007, where he held various management positions in Europe, Asia and the United States.

Yvon Pastol holds an engineering degree from the Institut Supérieur d’Électronique de Paris and a doctorate in solid-state physics from the University of Paris.
